Caltex exclusive supplier for DHL in Bangladesh

PARTNERSHIP: Caltex entered in to an agreement with DHL in Bangladesh as the exclusive supplier of lubricants in the Bangladeshi market.

DHL recognised as the global market leader in international express, overland transport and air freight has an international network which links more than 220 countries and territories worldwide and has also been recognised for reliability, speed and global service, offering a full range of customised solutions - from express document shipping to supply chain management.

In Bangladesh, DHL has been recognised as the preferred courier partner operating a fleet of 26 CNG vehicles.

Caltex commenced operations to Bangladesh in April 2006 through an export venture by Caltex Lubricants Lanka Limited to capitalise on the expanding lubricants market in Bangladesh.

"The Success of this operation has resulted in greater economies of scale which has been leveraged for the benefit of Sri Lankan consumers" said Imal Fonseka, General Manager - Sales and Marketing for Caltex Sri Lanka. Caltex also exports to Maldives, Re-Union, Mauritius and India.
