National Business Excellence Awards 2006 in November
BUSINESS AWARDS: The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka will
hold the National Business Excellence Awards 2006 for the third
consecutive year.
The Awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held on November 16
at the Colombo Hilton. First launched in 2004, the National Business
Excellence Awards have been designed to recognise business organisations
making a significance contribution to the socio economic development of
the country.
Selections for these prestigious awards will be made by an eminent
panel of judges, chaired by Prof. Gunapala Nanayakkara, Director of Post
Graduate Institute of Management. Other members of the panel are Prof.
Lakshman R. Watawala, Chairman/Director General of BOI,
Financial/Private Sector Specialist of World Bank Ismail Radwan,
Chairman of Bartleet Group of Companies Eraj Wijesinghe, and Chairman of
the SME Bank M. R. Prelis a well known banker.
This Awards ceremony has received high praise and recognition from
the corporate world of business, in Sri Lanka. Due to the prestige it
carries, this National Awards ceremony has now become an important
national event, securing a new 'benchmark of excellence.' |
