Thurunu Shakthi Awards

MAHARAGAMA:The National Youth Services Council (NYSC) has called applications from youth in the age group of 17 to 29 for the All Island Thurunu Shakthi Month Awards 2006.

The competition is held in the categories of lyric writing, poetry, short stories, novels, art and sculpture, photography and musical instruments. The closing date for applications is August 6.

Applications should be sent to Assistant Director, Aesthetic Skills Development Unit, NYSC, No. 65, High Level Road, Maharagama.
