Free diabetes assessment at Ceylinco Diabetes Centre

COLOMBO: The Ceylinco Diabetes Centre, a specialised outpatient clinic for the management and prevention of diabetes will provide free diabetes assessment to the public till the end of August in its continuing efforts to combat the spread of the disease, says a news release by the centre.

Diabetes assessment is an evaluation of a person's physical health and is carried out to determine the possibility of the person developing non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and hyperlipidaemia.

By calling and registering beforehand, members of the public can undergo a complete physical examination and a detailed analysis of their past medical history free-of-charge under this offer.

The centre located on the sixth floor of Ceylinco House, has dedicated parking and a valet parking service for visitors.
