Begin talks for peace in Palestine

KANDY: The escalation of violence and the most inhuman destructions continue ceaselessly in Palestine and Gaza Strip.

Killings by bombing and using artillery-fired cluster grenades against human lives are the most dreadful crimes committed by the Israelis against the unarmed civilian population inclusive of young and old alike and the ruination of valuable properties and belongings of state and private, states the Central Tennekumbura Young Men's Muslim Association.

It says: "We cannot be dumb-founded listening to and watching media only - but, unite and mobilise ourselves to raise our distasteful voices in protest against these heinous crimes committed by the Israel against Palestine and her people.

The proportion of violence and aggression is increasing in a horrendous scale for the destruction of valuable human lives, which must come to an end at all cost.

The outbreak of the Lebanon crisis, has brought in another toll of dangerous aggression as the Olmert government of Israel is directly intervening to grab Lebanon.

Israeli armed forces have bombed and stiffened Lebanon to commit mass destruction of human lives and other damages.

All Arab countries should co-operate and jointly raise their voices in the UNO and demand US President George Bush and Kofi Annan to order the Israeli Prime Minister to totally stop this human carnage and begin discussions for a stable peace in Palestine and entire Middle Eastern region."
