LTTE should renounce terrorism - Lunstead

Lunstead yesterday reiterated that the LTTE must renounce terrorism
and enter the political path if a solution is to be reached to Sri
Lanka's ethnic problem.

3,754 LTTE truce violations
The Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission revealed that
the LTTE has violated the ceasefire on 3,754 occasions since
February 2002. Nearly half of the violations relates to child
recruitment. In all the SLMM has received 7,308 complaints against
the LTTE up to-date.
