Felicitated for longstanding contribution to the HR profession

HONOUR: The Institute of Personnel Management recently felicitated Y.S. David for his longstanding contribution to the human resource management and to the institute.

He is a Fellow Member of the Institute who held positions in the Council for a period of 10 years and functioned as the Editor for considerable period.

He was also the Institute's Vice President in 1999/2000.

David is at present the Group Director (Human Resources) of Jafferjee Bothers Group of Companies, a leading group of exporters of tea, garments, fibre, rubber products etc.He who joined the Jafferjee Brothers Group in June 1978 has been with them now for a period of 28 years. He has been recognised as the longest serving HR professional to work for one group of companies.
