Bauer intensifies talks efforts

meeting with Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera last afternoon, ahead
of the decisive trip to Kilinochchi today.

National Bhikku Front takes UNP to task
COLOMBO: The National Bhikku Front responding to the
statements made by UNP Deputy Secretary Tissa Attanayake and
Parliamentarian Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena at a press conference held on
April 18 said the UNP seemed to welcome the arrival of bodies in the
South following claymore attacks made on the Security Forces by the LTTE
to hide its own setbacks.
