Indika leaves for Australia

TABLE TENNIS: Indika Prasad Silva will leave for Australia to participate at the 18th Commonwealth Games. Prasad will later will proceed to Germany to compete at the World Table Tennis Championship.

Prasad who began his career in 1990 in a past student of Isipatana Vidyalaya. At present he represents Seylan Bank. He won the Senior National Table Tennis title last year and also the Ashok Melvani Open Title.

Prasad has represented Sri Lanka at many international tournaments and brought honour to the country by winning medals. He is included in the South Asian Games Pool. He hopes to do well in Melbourne and bring glory to his motherland.
