Another first from American Express Cards
American Express Cardmembers can now authorise automatic payment of
their telephone, utility, insurance and other bills and earning them
American Express membership rewards points as well. Cardmembers can now
pay all their recurring bills conveniently on their American Express
Cards in just one easy step.
They can be spared the bill payment hassles, long queues and having
to write multiple cheques every month.
Bills that cardmembers would normally pay at various service
establishments can now be charged to their American Express Cards by
filling a Payment Consent Form(s) and sending it to the Nations Trust
Bank American Express Card Centre.
"All Nations Trust Bank American Express Cardmembers received
instructions on how to enroll into Automatic Bill Payment with their
August 2005 statements. Once the Cardmember enrolls for Automatic Bill
Payment, the bank will liaise with the service providers and debit the
customers monthly dues directly on their American Express Card," a
spokesperson for Nations Trust Bank, said.
In addition, Cardmembers will also earn Membership Rewards TM points
on all automatic bill payments charged to their card, which can be
redeemed for a wide range of attractive gifts ranging from travel to
dining; retail and branded merchandise. |
