Bonanza for Europe-bound travellers from Emirates

Travel from Colombo to eight points in Europe including London will soon carry attractive benefits plus a chance to win an air ticket and other prizes for passengers on Emirates.

Commencing September 15, the Colombo office of the Dubai-based international airline will offer First and Business Class passengers special four-month return fares to London, Frankfurt, Milan, Munich, Paris, Rome, Vienna and Zurich. These special fares will be available till December 15.

Passengers who book their travel to any destination on-line at www.emirates.com/lk will receive more benefits, in the form of a further 5 per cent discount on these fares and a chance to accrue up to 150 per cent more Skywards Miles on their travel.

Additionally, all on-line bookings will go through a series of monthly draws from September to February 2006 and one lucky Emirates passenger will win a valuable gift each month.

All passengers who booked their travel on-line during this period will qualify for a grand draw to be held in March 2006, at which a return ticket to any of 18 destinations in Europe will be on offer.

Emirates Sales Manager for Sri Lanka Devika Ellepola said: "The combination of special fares, extra Skywards Miles and an on-line promotion, represents an amazing bonanza and a huge value addition for the business or leisure traveller. This is truly an opportunity not to be missed."
