RATNASINGHAM - DR. SHANTHI KUMARAN of 51, Fintry Crescent, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, Scotland, passed away peacefully in Glasgow on the 1st of September 2005, after a brief illness. Kumaran is the eldest son of late Mr. S.J. Ratnasingham of the Social Services, Sri Lanka and late Mrs. Amirtharanee Ratnasingham of C.M.S. Ladies College, Colombo, and grandson of J.C. Sabaratnam and S.K. Rasiah of Tellippalai. Kumaran is the loving nephew of Mrs. Ruby Ratnasingham, Mr. Satkunasingham of Sri Lanka and Miss Thevaranee Rasiah of London. Kumaran also leaves behind a host of cousins, nephews and nieces in Sri Lanka, Australia and Canada. The funeral will take place in Glasgow, Scotland on the 10th of September 2005.
