House officially informed of Kadirgamar's death

SPEAKER W.J.M. Lokubandara yesterday officially communicated to Parliament the death of Foreign Minster Lakshman Kadirgamar.

"Minister Kadirgamar was true a son of Sri Lanka who brought much fame and glory to the country in the international field and his demise is a great loss to the country," the Speaker told the House at the commencement of yesterday's sittings.

The Speaker extended the condolences of Parliament to the bereaved family of Minister Kadirgamar.
