PC House (Pvt) Ltd. launched their Optoma DLP (Digital Light Processing) projectors for the first time in Sri Lanka.

Optoma is the world's Number One DLP projector manufactured with the latest Digital Light Processing technology. Compared with the currently widely used and hugely popular LCD projectors, a unique feature in the Optoma Business Projector is that it starts with 1800ANSI Lumens giving it superlative brightness and clarity.

The machine's native SVGA & XGA resolution takes it upto 3500 ANSI Lumens brightness with the bulb life reaching around 5000 hours.

The Optoma DV10 Movie Time Projector comes with seven segment colour wheel along with an inbuilt DVD player giving end users more flexibility. The latest model in the product range, EP 729 weighs only 0.99 kgs and has an XGA native resolution with 1600 ANSI Lumens and a contrast ratio of 2200 : 1.

Chairman PC House S.H.M. Rishan said that projectors played a key role in today's modern world - both corporate and domestic.

"No corporate event is complete without an audio visual experience. Domestic users are graduating from the simple television set to a more dimensional experience with DVDs and home theatre systems. There is hence a growing demand for superior quality projectors in this country".

Rishan said that it was to address this vacuum that PC House launched the Optoma DLP (Digital Light Processing) projectors. "Based in the US, Optoma is the best DLP projector manufacturer in the world. Given the product profile together with the local demand and potential, I have no doubt that Optoma will become No 01 in the Sri Lankan market before the end of the year.
