Lewke and CR take the lead

DUSHANTHA Lewke of CH&FC who won the competition last year polled 58 votes in the Caltex Most Popular Ruggerite competition to take the lead in the first week while CR&FC led in the Most Popular Rugger Team competition at the end of the first count in the competition organised by Sunday Observer and sponsored by Caltex Lubricants Limited.

1. Dushantha Lewke (CH&FC) 58, 2. Pavithra Fernando (CR&FC) 23, 3 Ramshan Cuncheer (OZSC) 10, Kapila Knowlton (Army) 9, Radika Hettiarachchi (Kandy SC) 9 and Asanka Rodrigo (CR&FC) 9 (All three received equal numbers).
