A fragrant passage
ARCHAEOLOGY reveals a number of seals, pottery
and other kindred artifacts found along the Indus-Saraswati river
and many Indus valley seals in the Tigres-Euphrates valley proving
that a strong trade link existed between these two civilisations.
Trade between the Indus valley and Mesopotamia was facilitated by a
small portion of land on the southeastern corner of the Arabian
Peninsula known today as the Sultanate of Oman.

Turning swords into ploughshares
TURNING swords into ploughshares has been the
dream of philosophers, theologians, poets and artists for thousands
of years. Yet this line of thinking has not yet penetrated into the
centres of power. This exhibition gives expression to that idea in a
powerful way for it converts the very substance of nuclear weapons
into works of art, thus juxtaposing two extremes of human
activity-total destruction and inspirational artistic creation.
