SLC Sec. Files writ application

The Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) filed a writ application on Monday seeking to quash the gazette notification purportedly issued under the sports law by the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.

The said gazette notification purports to introduce a new regulation to deal with various matters when the registration of National Associations of Sports has been suspended or cancelled, states a SLC release.
