UPFA an evolution of 1956 revolution - Anura

The People's Liberation Front (JVP) is an offshoot of the 1956 Revolution engineered by the late Prime Minister S.W.R.D.Bandaranaike and the present United People's Freedom Alliance is an evolution of the same 1956 Revolution, stated UPFA National Co-organizer Anura Bandaranaike, when he addressed the UK Branch meeting of the SLFP held in London, last Monday.

Industries, Investment Promotion and Tourism Minister Anura Bandaranaike, who is also the Senior Vice President of the SLFP further emphasised that the SLFP share the common objective of rebuilding the country eschewing petty personal gains.

Minister Bandaranaike attended this meeting at the invitation of SLFP London branch President Ranie Bulathsinghala. A large number of members of JVP UK branch also attended.
