Noble gesture by German national philanthropists : House donated to tsunami victim's wife

The Beruwala Shamurdhi Organisation and several of German National philanthropists constructed a newhouse at Payagala and donated to Prabha Kumari, the wife of W. Jagath Kumara whose house was completely destroyed due to tsunami catastrophe.

Under this project another house is being constructed for an affected family at Babbluwandawatta, Maggona.

Ven. Magal Kande Dhammananda Thera the registrar of Sasanaraksaka Mandalaya Beruwala and Ven. Walpita Anuradha Thera of the Buddhist Centre at Maggona participated in the religious ceremonies of the house when the house was donated to her. The new house was constructed at School Lane Maggona.
