Anura Rohana equals course record

THE Sri Lankan professional golfer Anura Rohana did impress in the
Petroleum GDC open in Delhi to equal the course record with scores of
79, 72, 72 and 63 to have 286 off a level par 288 to be placed 12th
while his compatriot pro: Lalith Kumara did not fare that well to notch
scores of 71, 76, 74 and 80 and be placed 32nd.
The competition is a part of the Ambyrally professional Golf
Association of India tour 2004/05.
Both professional golfers Rohana and Kumara will now proceed to the
next stage when they take part in Qutab Golf Course Open from the 6th
April to the 9th also in Delhi, and then move to participate from the
12th April to the 15th in the Airtel "Masters at the Classic Golf
Resort. |
