Religion as a humanising force
AS IS well-known, the Theosophical Society is committed to exploring
what may be called the Perennial Wisdom of the Ages, to which gamut of
insight and knowledge the greatest religions of the world have
contributed substantially and I feel privileged to be granted this
opening to contribute my mite on illuminating how Christianity in
particular is fertilising this terrain of timeless wisdom, which could
be truly considered the Truth.

Regi Siriwardena: returning to Ithaca of the heart
THE third month of Regi Siriwardena's death falls on March 15. ICES will
be celebrating his life and work on that day. A launching ceremony of a
hardcover edition titled "The Selected Writings of Regi Siriwardena:
Vol. I: The Literature and the Arts," edited by A. J. Canagaratna will
be one of the items of the program. This 851 page volume presents Regi
Siriwardena's articles on literature and reviews of films, books and
theatre during the 11 years he worked at Lake House in the 1950s.
