| Presidential polls in 2006, says Mangala Ports and Aviation Development and Media and Information Minister Mangala Samaraweera told Parliament yesterday that the next Presidential election will be held in 2006 as scheduled. He said President Kumaratunga was not a leader who will postpone elections. Accordingly the Government will hold the Presidential Election in 2006, he told the House. |
