Turkish people's hearts go out to Lankan

Lanka stricken with the tsunami disaster and assist them in their national
rebuilding effort, said Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan in Matara
yesterday. Lanka-Pakistan FTA will boost economic ties - President President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga who addressed the business
communities of Sri Lanka and Pakistan in Islamabad said the Free Trade
Agreement (FTA) will take the economic and business relations of the two
countries to a higher plane.
Governments and rebel groups found to be forcing children into combat or
sexual slavery should be punished if they fail to stem the abuses, UN
Secretary-General Kofi Annan said. Ports and Aviation Development and Media and Information Minister
Mangala Samaraweera told Parliament yesterday that the next Presidential
