CIMA Sri Lanka produces four world class winners The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is one of the world's largest professional accounting bodies focused solely on the training of accountants in business both in the private and public sectors. In excess of 34,000 students sat the November examinations in over 150 examination centres worldwide illustrating CIMA's recognition as a leading global brand and the most relevant qualification for finance and financial analyst staff. The CIMA Sri Lanka Division recently felicitated four CIMA students who were awarded four world prizes at the November 2004 examinations. The candidates were M Thushari Gunathilake for Finance, K J N C P Jayasuriya for Business Taxation, H M Thilina Thisara for Financial Reporting (UK Standards) and Thiwanka R Hewage for Management Accounting Performance Management. These candidates will receive their awards at the forthcoming CIMA Convocation on March 10 2005. |
