EDB to launch incentive scheme for small exporters The Sri Lanka Export Development Board EDB will launch a Rs 1 billion incentive scheme for small exporters. Incentive will be given on the individual value generated on sales in 2004 on the 2001-2003 base average. The scheme will be officially launched on 14 February by Minister of Advanced Technology and National Enterprise Development Rohitha Bogollagama along with Secretary to the Minister of Finance Dr P.B. Jayasundara in Colombo. Representatives of the Trade Chambers of the Export Community will be present on the occasion. |
