New lease product from SMB Seylan Merchant Bank (SMB) has launched a new property lease product branded 'Magema Thena' (My own place). This new facility will allow the businessman to choose the location for the venture, and also obtain the necessary equipment. This product would be ideal for young professionals or entrepreneurs who wish to commence operations, those who are already established but do not own their own premises as well as established companies who want to expand, the bank said. The customer can start paying off the debt when the business enterprise starts making profits. Repayments may be spread over a few years, and at the end of the period, the premises would belong to the venture. Seylan Merchant Bank Director General Manager Rohan Senanayake said: "A person need not have anything more than a great idea to benefit from this product. This is ideal for people who have no capital to start something on their own." |
