Joes trounce Royal Josephians with a stupendous all-round performance thrashed Royal by an innings and 14 runs in their school cricket match at Darley Road on Saturday. For the unbeaten Joes, it was their sixth win for this season. Joes 196 for 4 in reply to Royal's 139, declared at 260 for 9 with a healthy 121-run lead. Royal in their second essay were soon in trouble and their batsmen were all at sea against some intelligent bowling from the Josephians P. Ahamed top-scored for Royal with a defiant 30. Paceman Angelo Mathew who destroyed the Royal batting line-up in the first innings with 7 for 51 bowled well again to capture 3 for 31. He had a match haul of 10 for 82. Royal 139 and 107 (S.
