Willing to join Govt's N-E relief programme The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) has expressed its
willingness to be included in a common programme with the Government for
providing relief to the stricken victims of the tsunami disaster in the
North-East, before any recommencement of Peace Talks. Balasingham lauds forces' gallantry by Ariyasena Manamendra LTTE spokesman Anton Balasingham was full of appreciation for the
spontaneous response of the security forces who came to rescue of victims
of the tsunami devastation in the North and East. Relatives of dead, missing can forward affidavits to courts for death certificates by Sarath Malalasekera In the case of any person found dead or missing following the Tsunami
tidal waves on December 26, 2004, their close relatives could forward an
affidavit giving all the particulars about relatives who had died or gone
missing to the Registrar of the respective Magistrate Courts to obtain the
