SWRD Bandaranaike commemoration on Saturday

The 106th birth Anniversary commemoration of late Prime Minister S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike will take place on Saturday (8) with the offering of floral tributes at Bandaranaike statue in Galle face at 4.15 Pm.

President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse, Chairman of the Bandaranaike Commemoration Committee, General Secretary Sri Lanka Freedom Party Minister of River Basin Development and Rajarata Development Maithripala Sirisena , Ports, Aviation, Information and Media Minister Mangala Samaraweera , Minister of Industries, Tourism and Investment Promotion Anura Bandaranaike , and Secretary of Committee Governor S. Alavi Mowlana will participate at the event.

Secretary Museum Committee Sunethra Bandaranaike, relatives, Ambassadors, Governors and members of the Sangha will also attend the ceremony.
