Tritel takes relief to tsunami victims in Beruwela

Tritel Services (Pvt) Ltd sent a convoy of relief to Beruwela to provide aid to survivors of the devastating Tsunami last week.

The company, which lost 250 payphones along the coastal belt, has taken 1,000 roofing sheets, dry rations and clothing, to the victims of the Tsunami in the South.

This was made possible by the contribution of two days salary by Tritel's 300 strong workforce.

Tritel's Chief Executive K. Vijaiyakumar said "Our relief efforts are being conducted in association with Deputy Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Rohitha Abeygoonawardene.
