On behalf of the Sri Lankan cricket team I wish to convey our deepest sympathies, sorrow and shock to the families and their loved ones affected by the tidal wave disaster and the after effects of same.

Although we are many miles away we share the burden and would go out of our way to assist in anyway which we can to ensure that relief and help is being provided to the affected.

May God bless our country.
