Beloved wife and daughter of Dr Anton, mother and sister of Cezhan, daughter and granddaughter of the late Mr and Mrs Solomon of Kurunegala, daughter-in-law and granddaughter of the late David and Mrs Winifred Ambrose of Kotahena. EDMUND (Former Deputy Director - Bank Supervision, Central Bank Sri Lanka, Central Bank of Oman), loving husband of Ramani, father of Dimuthu (Standard Chartered Bank - Fort), father-in-law of Rukman De Silva (Ceylon Tobacco Company), grandfather of Dhevin, brother of Nanda Rajapakshe (Ahangama), son-in-law of Elen Weerasooriya, brother-in-law of Mala, Kumar, Ranjit (S.S.P. - Councillor Defence, Sri Lanka High Commission - U.K.), and Lilanthi (U.K.), expired. Cortege leaves residence, 16, Atapattu Road, Off Quarry Road, Dehiwela at 3.30 p.m. on 30th December 2004 for cremation at 4.30 p.m. at Kohuwela General Cemetery. 

DE ZOYSA - CYRIL Beloved husband of Swinitha, loving father of Niranjan and Manoj, father-in-law of Missara and Thanuja, loving grandfather of Abhishek, brother of Hector, Ellen, Richard, Kamala and Reggie, died under tragic circumstances. MENDIS - TAMARA KUMUDINI Beloved wife of Rev. Eardley Mendis (Pastor Purnajiwan Church, Chicago), loving mother of Eranga, Eranthie, and Amal, mother-in-law of Lana, grandmother of Autumn and Ravinda, daughter-in-law of Mrs Eva Mendis, sister of Naomal, Langani, late Senaka, Ransirini, and Upal, sister-in-law of Vyonnie, expired under tragic circumstances. Cortege leaves residence No. 402, Galle Road,  Rawathawatte, Moratuwa at 5 p.m. on Thursday December 30th for Service and Burial at Holy Emmanuel Church, Moratuwa at 5.15 p.m. 

PERERA - CHITRANGANI (nee WICKRAMARACHI)  and AGALAWATTE - SAVITH. Beloved wife of Shirley (formerly of Valuation Department and Timber Corporation), mother of Devika and Sandeepani, mother-in-law of Dr U.D. Gunawardane (National Hospital) and Upali Agalawatte (Swedish Trading Company), sister of the late Sanath, Prasanna, Ranjan, the late Nalini, Sunethra, Jayantha and Ransiri and  AGALAWATTE- SAVITH METHMAL (S. Thomas' College, Mt. Lavinia). Beloved son of Upali and Sandeepani, darling brother of Praneeth and Sakith (S. Thomas' College), died under tragic circumstances. 12, Kawdana Gardens, Dehiwela. 

RANASINGHE - D.G. Beloved husband of Premalatha Jayawardana, loving father of Sarath (Sales Manager - Hilton Colombo), Nimal (Proprietor), father-in-law of Shashika (St. Thomas' College, Mt. SHUNMUGANATHAN - A. (SHUN) and RANJITHAM (GLORY) of Kalkudah, passed away under tragic circumstnaces on December 26th, 2004. WEERASOORIYA - ANURA and SHYAMANI - Anura Weerasooriya - Engineering Manager, Coca Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd and Shyamani Weerasooriya (nee De Fonseka), (Staff Assistant - University of Colombo), died under tragic circumstances in Yala. Parents of Anushan (Student, Florida University and former Head Prefect, D.S. Senanayake College) and Chamali, (Student, Musaeus College), son and in-law of Shirlyn & the late Stanley Weerasooriya, daughter and in-law of Mahinda (former Deputy Secretary UGC; presently at IEMS Examinations) and Badra de Fonseka, brother and in-law of Nayani, Nalaka, Jayanthimala-Kumari, Menaka, Aruna, Hirantha, Surani, Sanath & the late Sakuntala and sister and in-law of Mahendra, Ajith, Ayendra, Dr. Deshapriya, Chitra and Shashikala. Remains will leave residence No. 36B, Sri Maha Vihara Road, Pamankada, Dehiwela on Thursday 30th December at 1.00 p.m. Cremations  will take place at 2.00 p.m. & at 5.00 p.m. at Kohuwala Cemetery.

 WICKREMASINGHE - GEMUNU Dearly beloved husband of Dilkushi (Attorney-at-Law), loving father of Gimhani, son of the late Mr & Mrs Boyd Wickremasinghe, son-in-law of the late C.W.J. and Mrs Gertrude Seresinghe, brother of Sarath, Subash, Kumar, Parakrama and Manodara, brother-in-law of Sriyanthi, Pearl, Swarna and Wilson Ariyawansa, Madubala, Kumari, Chandrakanth, Nilanjani, Ranaraj, Ushan, Shalindra, Sunil Perera, Upali Rambodagalla, Nimali, Saman Kuruppumudali, Mystica and Kumari, died under tragic circumstances in the Maldive Islands.
