Apparel Industry Suppliers Exhibition from Nov 18-20 The Apparel Industry Suppliers Exhibition (AISEX), one of the largest clothing industry trade shows in the region will be held from November 18 to 20 at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre in Colombo. The exhibition covers a wide range of apparel and textile machinery accessories and services from many parts of the world and will benefit the local apparel industry in many ways. Chairman AISEX Organising Committee Lakdas Fernando said that sixty-one large companies from eight countries will participate in this exhibition and the organisers had to turn down a number of requests for stalls as there is insufficient space at the exhibition centre. Hong Kong, Taiwan, India UAE, Singapore, UK and China are among the participating countries this year. Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse will be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. RK |
