PM tells banks, financial institutions :

Focus more on rural lending

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse has called upon banks and financial institutions in the country to repose more confidence in people in rural areas when granting them loans and to focus more on assisting them financially in order to alleviate poverty in the country.
