Kandy retain Clifford Cup with 51-20 win

Defending Caltex Clifford Cup Champions Kandy Sports Club played havoc with Havelocks Sports Club to score a runaway 51 points (4 goals, 4 tries, 1 penalty) to 20 (1 penalty goal, 2 tries, 1 penalty) to retain the Caltex Clifford Cup for the Sixth Successive year at the finals played at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium yesterday. At half time Kandy were in command leading 29-8.
