Appeal for a kidney Mrs. H.J. Edirisinghe, a mother of two of 95 Ferguson Road, Colombo 14 is suffering from advance chronic kidney failure. Consultant physician and Nephrologist, Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital Dr. C.A. Herath has recommended a kidney transplant as the only life saving measure following kidney machine treatment. The total transplant procedure to be done in India is estimated to cost over one million Indian rupees.
