The attention of the Army Headquarters is drawn to print media statement which appeared on August 17 and 18 in connection with the murder of a Tamil man. The statement claimed that the assassinated Kandaiya Yogarajan alias PLOTE Mohan as an ordinary solider of the Army and an informant of the intelligence unit. The Army Headquarters, denies such claims and further states that the assassinated person in the past had however assisted the Army as a civil informant when certain situations needed his assistance and did not serve as a soldier in the Army under any circumstances. |
