B'desh faces US sanctions over women,children trafficking

DHAKA, Wednesday (AFP)

The United States may impose sanctions on non-humanitarian and non-trade assistance to Bangladesh over the trafficking of women and children, a source close to the US embassy here said. A team of State Department officials would conclude a four-day visit to Bangladesh following discussions with ministers and non-governmental organisations, the source said.
