Ceylinco Development Bank relocates Negombo branch The Negombo branch of the Ceylinco Development Bank, the development-banking arm of Ceylinco Consolidated, recently moved to an independent, spacious new office with a car park. To celebrate the relocation, the company organised a health camp at which residents of the area received free medical advice and treatment. Deputy Chairman of Ceylinco Development Bank R. Renganathan said the Group is proud to have established a bank which facilitates development in a city that is rapidly developing. He said that the bank will extend its services to assist various industries. This would satisfy the financial needs of the people of the area and also boost self-employment, Renganathan said. General Manager of Ceylinco Development Bank Mahesh Nanayakkara said that the Negombo branch achieved the half billion rupee mark in investments and was ranked as the bank's best performing branch in terms of investments. He attributed the branch's success to the excellent customer care services provided by its staff. The bank provides a wide range of fee and fund based services including project loans, trade finance including bills discounting, agricultural loans, term loans, leasing facilities, bank guarantees, management consultancy services and portfolio management and corporate finance. The relocated branch is at St Joseph's Street, Negombo. The Ceylinco Development Bank was incorporated in 1995 and is backed by one of Sri Lanka's largest business conglomerates, Ceylinco Consolidated. |
