Two Pakistanis feared kidnapped in Iraq ISLAMABAD, Sunday (Reuters) Two Pakistani nationals are feared kidnapped in Iraq, a Foreign Office spokesman said on Sunday, the second such incident involving Pakistanis this year. "We are trying to find out the details. It is feared they have been kidnapped," Masood Khan said. Khan said the two missing men had been working in Iraq for a Kuwait-based company and their relatives had contacted Pakistani authorities expressing fears for their safety. "We will try our best to get them released if they are kidnapped," he added. However, he said, the kidnappers had so far made no contact with the Pakistani government. He identified the men as Raja Azad Khan and Sajjad Naeem. Both were from Rawalakot district in Pakistani Kashmir, the same region from where another Pakistani, Amjad Hafeez, kidnapped in Iraq last month, belonged to. |
