Indian Govt willing to talk to anyone in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Friday (PTI) Asserting that the Centre was willing to talk to anyone in Kashmir, the government's interlocutor on Kashmir N N Vohra today said there was a possibilty of meeting with moderate Hurriyat Conference led by Maulana Mohammad Abbas Ansari for the third round of talks in the first or second week of July.

"I am here as part of India-European Union roundtable. (But) there is possibility of meeting Hurriyat leaders at their convenience," he told reporters on his arrival here for a four-day conference.

Vohra said the third round of talks was likely to be held in the first or second week of next month which would be decided by mutual consent.

Asked if he would meet the leader of the hardline faction of Hurriyat, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, he said "we will see as it comes.

"Whosoever is willing to talk to goverment of India, the government of India is willing to talk to them," he added.
