by Indeewara Thilakarathne

The Court of Appeal yesterday allowed petitioner JHU to amend the list of respondents in the writ application filed against the MOU signed between the UNF Government and the LTTE.

The case came up before the Court of Appeal President Justice Salim Marsoof PC and Justice Siri Pavan.

The petitioners have filed this case citing the then cabinet of Ministers as respondents.

Yesterday the petitioners requested court to make the present Cabinet of Ministers as respondents.

The petitioners filed this application challenging the constitutionality of the Memorandum of Understanding reached between the Government and the LTTE.
