Indices fluctuate at Bourse Indices at the Colombo Bourse fluctuated in a narrowed band yesterday. The All Share Price Index dipped to 1,309.90 points from 1,321.25 and the Milanka Price Index decreased to 1,952.31 from 1,985.25. Turnover for the day was Rs. 123,746,445. According to stock brokers, investors are adopting a wait and see approach Profit taking might take place in the coming days, they said. Heavily traded stocks were SLT, Marawila Resorts, JKH and Blue Diamonds. Domestic purchases were Rs. 1,757 million and foreign purchases Rs. 73 million. Arpico, Three Acre Farms, Maskeliya, Equity and Cey Theatres were the top five gainers. |
