Masses rally round Freedom Alliance - Dr. Sarath Amunugama

by Asela Kuruluwansa

The masses are currently arraying themselves to retrieve the country from its path of corruption, indiscipline and injustice and to dedicate themselves to the cause of putting the country back on its proper track under the victory of United People's Freedom Alliance, said PA media spokesman.

Dr. Sarath Amunugama addressing a meeting of the Sarath Amunugama Friendship Centre held at the Postal Complex Auditorium of Kandy recently.

The exploitation of development resources for the benefit of the politicians is the main cause of large-scale unemployment. Strikes and unrest are rampant in the country.

A government incapable of solving any of the problems of the masses is useless. At the forthcoming General Election, people will not allow the UNP to come into power, he said.

He urged the masses to vote for the UPFA to win at lest 125 seats in addition to the 15 expected bonus seats in order to form a stable government that will work in harmony with the Executive President.
