UNP special convention tomorrow

A Special Convention of the United National Party under the patronage of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will be held at the Colombo Town Hall tomorrow at 9.00 a.m.

This special convention is intended to explain to the party candidates and the general membership about the strategy to win the General Election.

UNP media spokesman and Galle District candidate Gayan Karunathilaka urged the entire UNP membership including organisers, former MPs, Provincial Councillors, Pradeshiya Sabha members and candidates to register to attend the convention where the Party Election Manifesto adopted at the General Election of 2001 will be ratified to be continued further as the future program.
