A CP-NCP final likely

Central Province went to the top of the Ten Sports provincial cricket tournament after beating Uva Province by an innings on Monday.

The win puts Central in a strong position to qualify for the final. North Central Province who are lying third is the other team with a chance of getting through to the final. They meet central in their final league match and require only bonus points to displace second placed Western Province.

Western, Southern and Uva have completed all their matches.
