Indian slicers win Second Test by Winston Rajudeen The Indian slicers gave yet another fine performance at the Colombo Hotel Hilton 'Blue Elephant' to win the Second Test taking the lead 2/0 in the Test series. The Indian slicers with a 1/0 lead in the First Test held at Central Bank Auditorium, Anuradhapura displayed their supremacy over the Lankans when they won the men's singles event 3/0 and the women's singles event 3/0 convincingly. Fine Achievement However in the First Test, Viraj Fernando (one time ranked World No: 5) was the only Sri Lanka slicer to win against an Indian player. He defeated R. M. Shankara (World No: 1 and currently ranked No: 3) scores 25/23, 14/25, 25/23 D.
