Sajith Kavinda of St. Benadict's College and Kalpani Nissansala of Old Devans Sports Club, Ambalangoda clinched the men's intermediate and women's intermediate singles title respectively at the Southern Sports Club all island table tennis championships worked off at S. Thomas' College Indoor Stadium, Mount Lavinia.

Sajith Kavinda defeated K. S. Hettiarachchi of Kingswood College, Kandy 11-8, 11-8 in the men's singles final while Kalpani Nissansala had the better of Ruvini Weerasekera of Mahamaya College, Kandy 11-7, 11-4 in the women's singles final.
