CCC School of Cricket to tour India by Herbert Perera The under-16 and 14 teams from the CCC School of Cricket will tour Bangalore, India on the invitation of Imtiaz Ahamed Cricket Academy to participate in an Invitation Quadrangular Tournament with hosts Imtiaz Ahamed Cricket Academy, Frank Anthony International School and Jain International School from December 12 to 23. All the matches will be played in Bangalore with the finals on December 21. CCC School is on their fourth tour abroad in five years, and have fared well in all their past tours. Royalist Ruwan Silva will lead the under-16 team and his deputy is Prasad Gallage from Dharmaloka College, Kelaniya. The under-14 team will be led by Josephian cricketer Nilshan Perera and the deputy is also another Josephian Sachintha Dias. On this tour CCC Junior Cricketers are also scheduled to play YMCA Cricket Academy and B.G.S. International Residential School in Bangalore. An educational tour of Mysore is also included in this tour. Nelson Mendis, Director of Coaching CCC School of Cricket will be the Manager and Head Coach Milroy Gonsal as Assistant Manager and Pubudu Priyadharshana will be the Assistant Coach. |
