News Business Features Editorial Security Politics World Letters Sports Obituaries | Back in SLMC fold Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Deputy Minister, Mohideen Abdul Cader rejoined the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress accepting Minister Rauff Hakeem's leadership on December 9 morning at his official residence in the presence of SLMC parliamentarians and party supporters from the Kalkuda electorate, Batticaloa district, states an SLMC press release. Mohideen Abdul Cader said though he left the party and work with the Ashroff Congress which was formed and led by Minister Athaullah he had great respect for SLMC leader Minister Hakeem. Minister Assisting Vanni Rehabilitation, Noordeen Mashoor, SLMC Parliamentarians, Anwer Ismail, H. M. M. Harees, M. S. Thawfeek, National Organiser of the party, K. A. Baiz, Senior Vice President, A. L. Abdul Majeed were also present at this event. |
